Application procedure step by step
- Application will only be submitted online. Applications for hard copies are not acceptable.
- Go to http://red.pieas.edu.pk/
- Creating an account and logging in.
- Complete and submit the application form online.
- Upload the recent color photograph of the passport size.
- Upload all academic documents.
- Bank Challan print
- Make bank payments and fill out payment details in your profile.
- Appear for Test at the venue and date mentioned in your call letter.
- Merit list will be placed on the website of PIEAS within 3 weeks of the test.
- Continue to visit your profile on PIEAS website before and after the Entry Test.

APF within two
weeks after due date 4000/-
NOTE
The processing
fee for applications is non-refundable.
The application processing fee must be
deposited in the PIEAS University Account No 00427991660803 (Title of Account:
PIEAS-APF) All of Pakistan's HBL branches. No bank service fees will be charged
to submit processing fees through any HBL branch.
Eligibility Criteria
At
least 60% or equivalent marks in both Matriculation/O-level and
Intermediate/A-level or equivalent exams
- Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics are the main subjects for BS Engineering Programs admission
- Physics and mathematics are the main subjects for BS Computer & Information Science Program admission
- Physics as the main subject of BS Physics admission
Applicants with Pre-Medical
background who have taken Mathematics ' additional paper are also eligible to
apply.
Associate Engineer Diploma (DAE)
holders can also apply.
It may also apply to those who are
waiting for their results. However, at the time of joining the BS program, the
intermediate/A-level or equivalent result with at least 60% or equivalent marks
is required.
Selection procedure
Applicants are selected on the basis of
the grades Matric / O - level, F.Sc./A - level and written test according to
the following distribution:
PIEAS Written Test 60%
Matric 15%
F.Sc or F.Sc (Part I) 25%
O-Level / A-Level 40%
O-Level equivalence from Inter Board
Committee of Chairmen (IBCC)
NOTE
Test shall be carried out in Pakistan's
major cities as indicated in the application form. The test will consist of
English Comprehension, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry / Computer Science
based MCQs. The level of questions for the section on mathematics would be
Matric / O - level or equivalent for Pre-Medical students eligible for BS
Physics admission.
Admission based on SAT scores
- Based on SAT scores, PIEAS has reserved some seats for admission to BS programs.
- All Pakistani Nationals Matric/F.Sc or O / A level background may compete on a SAT score basis.
- Admission is based on three subjects (Physics, Chemistry and Math Level II) resulting from SAT II.
- The SAT score should be eligible for admission at least 2000 or more
- Merit list shall be prepared separately for admission to BS programs on the basis of SAT score.
- The institutional code for receiving SAT scores from PIEAS is 7272.
Financial Support / Scholarship
- Subject to satisfactory performance, financial support in the form of a tuition fee waiver is required.
- Public sector technical organizations, after successful completion, also provide few sponsorships and jobs.
